After months of rumors, Marvel Television has been officially confirmed to be folding into Marvel Studios, with most of all of the television division's plans for future projects scrapped. However, while Marvel Studios president will now assume control of Marvel's small-screen outings, the projects put into development before the move will go on as planned.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, while Tigra & Dazzler will be pushed as the series undergoes a creative overhaul, production will continue as planned on previously announced projects such as MODOK, Hit-Monkey, Tigra & Dazzler and Howard the Duck, plus the mashup The Offenders. The trade also confirms production will continue on Helstorm, which will mark the last live-action title under Jeph Loeb and Marvel Television. That project kicked off production back in October and is slated to debut on Hulu sometime next year.

Rumors that Marvel Television would fold into Marvel Studios began to heat up earlier this year after Netflix officially canceled the last of its Marvel titles. And the reports only increased when renewals for both Hulu's The Runaways and Freeform's Cloak & Dagger failed to surface. As the two companies merge, Loeb will continue to stay on board for the transition, more than likely to oversee production on the division's final properties for Hulu. An official date for his departure has yet to be determined.

Still on deck for Marvel Television are Hulu's The Runaways, which premieres its final season this Friday, and ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which will end its seven-season run next summer with a shortened final season.
