Today, the publisher released a teaser image for a Save the Date wedding invitation on June 20, 2018. Though it doesn't offer any clues as to who will get married, the invitation features previous high profile Marvel weddings from the past: Black Panther and Storm; Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne (shrunken in size and standing atop a wedding cake); Reed Richards and Sue Storm; Cyclops and Jean Grey, and Northstar and Kyle Jinadu. The artwork also teases that this will be the "wedding of the century," which is sure to get fans speculating on just who could be tying the knot.

It's not often that Marvel (or mainstream comics in general) actually goes through and has characters settle down and marry one another. DC Comics recently had Batman propose to his on-again/off-again flame, Catwoman, with Selina Kyle accepting his proposal. The Guardians of the Galaxy's Peter Quill (Star-Lord) was also engaged to his former teammate and current leader of X-Men Gold Kitty Pryde, though the two eventually would decide to go their separate ways.

For now, fans will have to wait until the summer of 2018 to see which heroes (or villains) it plans to tie the knot.
