Marvel Comics has released a teaser for a mysterious color-themed Wolverine project, which may lead to a new series.
The black, white and red teaser is captioned, "What's black, white, and blood all over," with more information promised to be revealed by the publisher later today.
The teaser features different versions of Wolverine from over the years. The main image shows Logan wearing street clothes and a leather jacket from the Grant Morrison era of New X-Men; the top left art of Wolverine appears to be similar to Logan from writer Benjamin Percy and artist Joshua Cassara's X-Force; and Wolverine in the top-right part of the graphic displays Logan after he escaped Weapon X, along with a more monstrous-version of the X-Man.
The question remains if this new Wolverine-centric teaser is for another X-Men solo title, a miniseries or an out-of-continuity story. Wolverine has typically only had one ongoing solo comic at a time, though Marvel is no stranger to having multiple titles for its biggest stars, including Spider-Man and Iron Man.
Stay tuned to CBR later in the day for the official reveal of Marvel's new Wolverine project.
