A newcomer has joined the ranks of Marvel Studios actors: Malaysian actor Raja Ilya. The 31-year-old actor revealed her involvement in a Marvel movie earlier this month at a press conference for her upcoming film "Soulmate Hingga Jannah." Ilya didn't name her role, nor did she reveal which Marvel movie she's involved with.

“I can’t get any accurate shooting location for now," Ilya told star2.com. "I’ve just been informed to fly to Hollywood by the end of the year for role selection and for which Marvel title (I would be involved in).”

The actress “The offer came from someone I know from Indonesia who has already acted in a few Marvel and Disney movie," said Ilya. "Now I just have to get prepared for the moment of my life.” Ilya noted that she's also training with "Raid" and "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" martial artist Yayan Ruhian, possibly for the mystery role in a Marvel movie.

Marvel has a number of titles currently filming in Atlanta, including "Black Panther" and "Avengers: Infinity War." The next two "Avengers" films are being shot back-to-back in Atlanta, meaning that filming for both films will take pretty much all of 2017. Considering that Ilya said she's flying to the States at the end of the year, it seems more likely that she'll appear in one of the films dropping after "Infinity War." That leaves "Ant-Man and the Wasp," which opens on July 6, 2018, or "Captain Marvel" (March 8, 2019) as likely candidates for Ilya's appearance.
