When Marvel Studios kicked off the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the release of Iron Man in 2008, the studio also effectively started a worldwide craze for superhero films that still endures today. Eighteen films, $14.8 billion, ten years and three phases in, Marvel is revisiting its past by releasing some never-before-seen images from Phase One.The photos, which are part of the upcoming Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years book, are from Iron Man, Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 2, Avengers and Thor. Louis Leterrier's The Incredible Hulk is the only Phase One film missing from the gallery.RELATED: Marvel Studios Celebrates 10 Years of Fandom in New Video TributeThe photos from Iron Man and Iron Man 2 feature Tony Stark testing out what appears to be the Mark II Iron Man suit and a conversation between Natasha Romanoff and Happy Hogan, respectively. The image from Captain America shows Steve Rogers preparing for an injection of Super Soldier Serum.

The next photo shows Loki, and seemingly takes place aboard the Helicarrier in Avengers. The final image, which is from Thor, shows Jane Foster in her lab. The nametags of the crewmember next to her read "Donald Blake," a reference to Thor's alter-ego in the comics.

Marvel Studios: The First Ten Years will release in November.
