Having already earned over over a $1.1 billion worldwide, Avengers: Infinity War has proven to be a monumental success for Marvel Studios. However, the studio is in the process of making plans for its next decade of movies, including a new franchise "beyond Avengers."

"We meet on a regular basis with our Marvel team, and we've plotted out Marvel movies that will take us well into the next decade," Disney CEO Bob Iger told The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm guessing we will try our hand at what I'll call a new franchise beyond Avengers, but that doesn't necessarily mean you won't see more Avengers down the road. We just haven't made any announcements about that."

Iger didn't give any indication what franchise the studio would start exploring. However, it certainly has to do with Marvel's plans for films through 2025. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has already said the studio has another 20 movies planned beyond Phase Three, and fans are already penciling in the likes of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3, the Black Widow standalone and the newly discussed Eternals movie.

In theaters now, Avengers: Infinity War is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston and Josh Brolin, among others.
