Marvel Studios President and Marvel Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige is in talks to bring a new superhero TV series to ABC.

According to Deadline, Feige and ABC Entertainment President Karey Burke have yet to discuss which characters could make the jump to broadcast television.

"We love our partners at Marvel and we’re sad to see [Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D] go, it’s been a big part of our history," Burke said. "We’re looking forward to working with Kevin Feige and we’re at the very beginning of conversations with him now about what a Marvel and ABC show might look like. Right now, Marvel’s focus has been on Disney+, as it should be."

Non-Marvel Studios series were originally under the jurisdiction of Jeph Loeb and Marvel Television, as opposed to the shows that will soon arrive on Disney+. However, Loeb departed in October 2019 shortly after Feige was promoted to CCO. Then, in December, Marvel Television closed its doors for good, though the shutdown was said to not have an effect on any projects already in development.
