As the Black Lives Matter protests continue across the country, Marvel Studios issued a statement.On Twitter, they posted an image that reads, "We stand against racism. We stand for inclusion. The statement comes off the heels of the death of George Floyd at the hands of police officers, the latest case of police brutality to spark outrage globally. Over the weekend, protests have erupted across the country, including in Minnesota, New York, California, New Jersey, Texas, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and more.

The Black Lives Matter movement has hit global proportions, with demonstrations hitting London, Berlin and Toronto as well.

Marvel Studios' statement comes after several other big-name celebrities and companies threw their hat in the ring to denounce racism and support the Black community. Netflix, Hulu and HBO all made posts about the movement this weekend as well.

Several of Marvel Studios' actors including Tessa Thompson, who plays Valkyrie,  have been vocal about the protests on social media for days.

Disney Animation and Star Wars issued the same exact statement on Twitter minutes later.
