As marketing ramps up for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's next blockbuster, Captain Marvel, attendees at this weekend's Brazil Comic Con have access to a special promotion from Marvel Studios.
Exclusively given to those that attended Brazil Comic Con's Marvel panel, Marvel Studios has unveiled a new poster featuring a painted incarnation of Brie Larson's eponymous MCU superhero with her red, blue, and gold color scheme in the background. The new poster was shared this afternoon on Marvel Studios' Twitter account below:
The exclusive poster comes on the heels of the studio sharing an extended sneak peek of the film at the Marvel panel at the convention, providing never-before-seen footage.
In addition to the new poster, attendees also had an opportunity to see the costume itself up close and on display at the Marvel Studios booth this weekend.
Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman, and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as the commander of Starforce, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, and Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, McKenna Grace, and Annette Bening in as-yet-undisclosed roles. The film arrives on March 8, 2019.
