The latest update for the popular mobile game Marvel Strike Force brings the Marauders into the fray, with this incarnation of the classic team populated exclusively by iconic X-Men villains.
Mister Sinister, Mystique, Sabretooth and Stryfe all make up the game's version of the team, providing bonuses to one another in combat while showcasing their own signature special moves and powers. Developer FoxNet has unveiled a sizzle reel showing the Marauders in action as they unleash their brutal attacks.
Drawing upon his geneticist background, Sinister can provide healing support to the rest of the team and clone opponents to gain access to their abilities. Stryfe, the evil clone of Cable, utilizes his vast psionic abilities both offensively and to provide boosts to his teammates in combat. When partnered with the Marauders, Mystique now gains additional combat boosts through her connection to Sinister. Finally, Sabretooth similarly gains offensive bonuses when partnered with Sinister, making Wolverine's longtime nemesis even more lethal.
Released in March 2018, Marvel Strike Force allows players to assemble their own crew of iconic heroes and villains, either in service to S.H.I.E.L.D. or Hydra, and compete against other players.
