Popular mobile fighting RPG Marvel Strike Force has just added a new webslinger to its roster with Miles Morales becoming a playable character this month.

As a tie-in to this week's release of the Sony animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Miles' incarnation of Spider-Man joins the fight with a holiday-themed video introducing the character released online.

Hosted by the S.H.I.E.L.D. medic, the superhero is introduced as the youngest member on the team with his webslinging and electric Venom blasts used to dispatch foes.

Developed by FoxNext, Marvel Strike Force debuted on iOS and Android devices this past March. The mobile game has players working for organizations such as S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra, teaming up operatives with various heroes and villain collected over the course of gameplay. The Spider-Verse tie-in is the latest cross-promotion within the game, which began in April with a tie-in for Avengers: Infinity War.
