Charles Soule and Jesus Saiz are set to relaunch Marvel Comics' Star Wars book, which will pick up after the events of 1980's The Empire Strikes Back. Marvel Comics has provided CBR with an exclusive preview of the book.
The preview takes place between when Luke Skywalker lost his hand to Darth Vader and when he received his new hand at the end of Empire Strikes Back. The pages show the crew of the Millennium Falcon arguing about how to next proceed and rescue Han Solo, who was captured by Boba Fett and frozen in carbonite. Much of the preview features new dialogue that didn't occur in the original film, filling in a gap in the story, and a new crawl summarizing the dire events of the film's climax. The final page of the preview and crawl have not previously appeared in any first looks at the book.
