With the massive success of The Mandalorian on Disney+, fans cannot wait to see what comes next from the universe they love on the new streaming platform. For years, Marvel has been telling truly compelling and unique stories through Star Wars comics.

Many of these comics feature new characters that have not yet been seen on the big screen, or the comics dive deep into the history and origins of beloved characters. There are plenty of characters that would work perfectly on the streaming service if they were given their own original show. Here are 10 characters from Marvel's Star Wars comics that definitely deserve to have the Disney+ treatment.

10 Sana Starros

Sana Starros has had several memorable moments from the comics. She is an unpredictable smuggler with a great personality that is perfect for adventure stories. Starros is first introduced to readers as a smuggler who is claiming to be the wife of none other than the beloved Han Solo. She goes on a wild chase searching for Solo across many planets. She is smart and a skilled fighter, getting herself out of plenty of tricky situations. Sana Starros has the right look for a Disney+ series and there is a rich history of smuggling adventures to choose from. A show centered around Starros would definitely be a success.

9 Rae Sloane

Imperial Loyalist Grand Admiral Rae Sloane

Having survived the Battle of Endor, Rae Sloane ambitiously started rising in the ranks of the Galactic Empire. She is perfect for Disney+ because her series would show the Empire in a new way, following Sloane as she becomes a Grand Admiral.

Rae Sloane was there when the First Order was first formed and she was one of the most influential founding members. She is ruthless and ambitious, so it would be a compelling show to see this character outsmart others as she rises to higher positions in the Empire. Disney+ needs to make a series that focuses on the dark side and explore the inner politics of the Galactic Empire.

8 Grakkus the Hutt

Like most other Hutts, Grakkus gained power by becoming a crime lord. This particular Hutt has mechanical legs attached to him, making him agile and actually a pretty skilled fighter. What sets Grakkus apart is his love for Jedi lore and artifacts. He has scoured the galaxy in search of artifacts to add to his vast collection. This strange character would be perfect for a Disney+ series that would definitely be unlike any other Star Wars film or series. At one point, Grakkus was even able to capture Luke Skywalker for a brief period of time. Grakkus is the perfect crime lord to get the Disney+ treatment.

7 Doctor Cylo

Doctor Cylo is a truly unique and creative character. This slightly twisted scientist merged himself with cybernetics to enhance his body. He became somewhat immortal by inventing a way to transfer to a new body each time he was killed.

Cylo would make for a great thriller series on Disney+ because his story would have to explore the creepier side of cybernetic enhancing through his creations. His path is intertwined with Darth Vader, so his series would likely see brief interactions with the infamous Sith Lord. Cylo mainly works for the Empire under Palpatine's orders, but he has a rich enough story on his own to make an awesome series.

6 Black Krrsantan

This legendary Wookie left his homeworld of Kashyyk at a very young age, he was then trained as a gladiator until he was an expert level fighter. He spent most of his time as a bounty hunter in the service of Jabba the Hutt, but he also went on to work for Darth Vader and Doctor Aphra. Krrsantan would be the perfect character for a Disney+ series because his path crosses with some of the most beloved characters like Obi-Wan and Han Solo. He even has an extremely memorable brawl with Chewbacca, an intense fight between two intimidating Wookies. This gritty bounty hunter is ready for his own series.

5 Norra Wexley

Norra Wexley is a character that has been around with the rebels for many important fights. She was there at the Battle of Endor and has been a key member of the resistance, helping General Organa with several dangerous missions. She was sent as a leader of a highly skilled team to rescue Han Solo and she has survived plenty of intense battles.

Her son, Temmin Wexley, has been a key ally to Poe Dameron, appearing alongside him in several of the newer films. A Disney+ show that follows this rebel on her elite missions would certainly be a must-watch for any Star Wars fan.

4 Inquisitors

After the events Revenge Of The SithDarth Sidious put together a team of highly skilled assassins to hunt down and eliminate any Jedi that survived the infamous Order 66. Led by the Grand Inquisitor, this team was ruthlessly trained by Darth Vader to sharpen their skills. They must work together to outsmart the Jedi that have gone into hiding. The Inquisitors are perfect for their own series on the new streaming platform because they have been on some really memorable missions hunting down Jedi. The action scenes on this series would be awesome because each inquisitor has a unique weapon and skill, perfect for a very cinematic story.

3 Thrawn

Thrawn has become one of the most iconic characters within the Star Wars expanded universe. He has been featured in several novels, comics, and has briefly appeared in the animated series as well. With his blue skin and striking red eyes, this character is an intimidating member of the Galactic Empire.

He rose to power by studying his opponents in-depth and outsmarting them using their own tactics. He rose to be the Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy, promoted by the emperor himself. Thrawn's series would feature some brilliant military strategies and of course would have to include some intense spaceship warfare.

2 Black Squadron

Black Squadron is the group of resistance fighters led by Poe Dameron, fighting under the orders of General Organa. This group of pilots has gone on some truly important missions in the comics. They were not used in the films nearly enough, only going into action a few times. This squadron is perfect for a series full of bravery and teamwork. Dameron forms a strong friendship with the other leader of the group, Temmin Wexley, who barely gets any screen time in the films. Fans would love to go along for the ride as Poe and BB-8 embark on some high stakes missions with their squad.

1 Doctor Aphra

Out of all the brilliant and unique characters that have come from the Marvel Star Wars comics, Doctor Aphra needs to have her own series. Aphra is modeled after Indiana Jones, and her comic series is truly unique and it is perfect for the screen. She is an archeologist that was originally hired by Darth Vader, but later parted ways with the Sith Lord. Riding the line between good and bad, Doctor Aphra is the perfect anti-hero that fans have come to love. Her story crosses paths with all of the best Star Wars characters including Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Leia, and Han Solo. If Disney+ does choose to make a series around Aphra, it would be a smash hit that is full of nonstop action and adventure.
