Marvel's Next Superhero Team Will Assemble in a SiriusXM/Pandora Podcast

Marvel Entertainment has announced a deal that will be bringing a slew of podcasts to both SiriusXM and Pandora radio stations.

Starting in 2020, Marvel will be creating scripted and unscripted podcast content based on the company's characters, artists and deep history.

The partnership will begin with four individual, 10-episode podcast series centered on Wolverine, Black Widow, Star-Lord and Hawkeye, respectively. Marvel has also stated that, following the conclusion of the four debut podcasts, there will be a fifth that combines the characters into one Avengers-style series.

"Storytelling has always been at the heart of Marvel’s success, and SiriusXM and Pandora have the right platform and expertise to bring Marvel’s rich tapestry of stories to listeners in a whole new way," Marvel Entertainment President Dan Buckley said in a statement. "We are excited to introduce an impressive roster of programming with SiriusXM and Pandora, and we can’t wait to share more details in the weeks and months to come."

News of the podcast deal arrives shortly after SiriusXM and Pandora collaborated with Marvel to release a radio station titled Marvel's 80th: The Road to Marvel Comics #1000.
