She-Hulk has rough luck when it comes to romance in Marvel Comics. While other Marvel heroes like Spider-Man have love interests who support them, like Mary Jane, She-Hulk's list of love interests are less positive. A lot of her romantic history was defined by a Starfox using his powers on her and that kind of manipulation has consequences.

Not all of She-Hulk's relationships were purely negative. She established close relationships with fellow heroes who shared her interests and pursuits of justice. Most fans are aware of Jen's entanglements with Luke Cage and Starfox, but there are several more She-Hulk love interests that some fans may be unaware of.

Starfox

She-Hulk Vol. 2 #7 (2006) By Dan Slott, Will Conrad, And Dave Kemp

Starfox surrounded by the other avengers

The man responsible for many of She-Hulk's affairs was Thanos's brother, Starfox. Eros was one of The Avengers most hated members, using his powers as an Eternal to force people to love him. Tellingly, She-Hulk was his attorney in a case where he used his powers to seduce a married woman.

During this trial, while he was with the Avengers, She-Hulk believed Starfox used his powers to seduce her as well. It turned out that he kept his powers off of her in that one instance but he did manipulate her feelings to make her fall in love with John Jameson.

John Jameson III

John Jonah Jameson Junior Man-Wolf Stargod She-Hulk 13

John Jameson is She-Hulk's ex-husband. The son of J. Jonah Jameson was also known as The Man-Wolf, a scientific werewolf thanks to exposure to moon rocks. John and She-Hulk had been dating for a while when the first Civil War started and ended up eloping and getting married during the event.

During their marriage, John became Stargod, and then things went wrong. She-Hulk realized that Starfox's powers influenced her infatuation with John, and she left him shortly after, tired of Starfox's frequent influence over her life.

Clay Quartermain

SHIELD Agent Clay Quartermain sleeping in She-Hulk's quarters in Marvel Comics.

Clay Quartermain was a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who later became part of the Hulkbusters. He left that group and teamed up with Hulk and Rick Jones to stop a terrorist attack and became a national hero. Years later, he became the leader of a new S.H.I.E.L.D. Hulklbusters unit with She-Hulk, Agent Crimson, and Agent Cheesecake.

During this time, She-Hulk and Clay began a relationship, which wasn't the smartest thing since they were partners in a government-sanctioned military unit. Though their relationship was extremely brief, Clay turned jealous when he learned that Tony Stark was also interested in She-Hulk.

Luke Cage

Heroes For Hire #17 (1998) By John Ostrander, Marti Egeland, Hector Collazo, And Joe Rosas

Luke Cage leads other heroes in Marvel Comics

Luke Cage, frequent member of the Defenders and New Avengers, married and had a child with Jessica Jones. The two have been mainstays in the world of The Avengers since they got together.

What was originally Power Man and Iron Fist soon became Heroes for Hire, where the superheroes worked, making money by helping people. In Heroes for Hire #17 by John Ostrander, Marti Egeland, Hector Collazo, and Joe Rosas, Cage made a bet with She-Hulk. If he won, she would go on a date with him. The date was interrupted by Titania and the Absorbing Man, and She-Hulk was impressed by Cage's strength, optimism and heroism.

Hercules

Sensational She-Hulk #25 (1991) By Simon Furman, Bryan Hitch, John Beatty, And Glynis Oliver

Hercules battles a giant hand in Marvel Comics

Hercules was She-Hulk's dream partner for some time. She-Hulk often fantasized about the Greek demigod in the pages of John Byrne's Sensational She-Hulk. She'd get lost in her thoughts, imagining Hercules arriving in a knight's armor on horseback or meeting her at the beach.

After over a year of dreaming about Hercules, she finally met him in issue #25 by Simon Furman, Bryan Hitch, John Beatty, and Glynis Oliver. However, She-Hulk realized that Hercules was rude and chauvinistic. Of course, that didn't stop them from developing a relationship in She-Hulk Vol. 2 #30.

Richard Rory

Savage She-Hulk #7 (1980) By David Kraft, Mike Vosburg, Chic Stone, And Bean Sean

Richard Rory drinks coffee in Marvel Comics

Richard Rory first appeared in Man-Thing in 1974 and was a supporting character in that comic book. As a man without powers, he considered himself a magnet for bad luck. However, by the time he met She-Hulk, his luck had changed, and he had become a wealthy man.

Richard met Jen in Savage She-Hulk #7, by David Kraft, Mike Vosburg, Chic Stone, and Bean Sean, and helped her escape from the police. He then asked her out, and the two started dating. However, she broke up with him for her childhood friend, Zapper. Rory was already a fairly obscure comic character, so his relationship with She-Hulk flew under most fans' radars.

Zapper

Daniel "Zapper" Ridge made his first appearance in the 1980s She-Hulk comics. Daniel and Jennifer Walters were friends from childhood. She was his next-door neighbor and sometime babysitter who he developed an infatuation with.

Zapper was always there to help She-Hulk and Jennifer Walters, and she soon realized that she loved him. She ended up dating Zapper when she left Richard Rory. She-Hulk's relationship with Zapper was extremely brief and Zapper married someone else. However, when she was later resurrected, Zapper kissed her, revealing his lasting feelings for She-Hulk.

Iron Man

She-Hulk #17 (2005) By Dan Slott, Rick Burchett, Cliff Rathburn, And Andy Troy

Tony Stark and She-Hulk lying in bed talking in Marvel Comics

In She-Hulk #17, She-Hulk and Tony Stark shared a one-night stand. At the time, Tony Stark was viewed as the biggest womanizer in Marvel Comics. The union certainly surprised fans.

Luckily, writer Dan Slott broke the event down in a conversation between the two as they were in bed together. She-Hulk brought up the double standards between men and women who sleep with multiple partners and how unfair those perceptions are. Tony responded that she was already empowered as both She-Hulk and Jennifer Walters, but it takes a suit of armor to make him a man. It was a surprisingly vulnerable moment for both heroes, if not either's finest hour.

Wyatt Wingfoot

Fantastic Four #275 (1985) By John Byrne, Al Gordon, And Glynis Wein

She-Hulk dances with Wyatt Wingfoot

While She-Hulk has dated some average non-superpowered humans, the best of them was Wyatt Wingfoot. Wyatt was a supporting character from The Fantastic Four who was a close friend and roommate of Johnny Storm during Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's time on the book.

He was perfect for She-Hulk, tall, strong, and confident. During She-Hulk's time on the team as The Thing's replacement, the two met and started dating. They dated for much of the 80s, and Wingfoot was one of She Hulk's best boyfriends. Writer Matt Fraction later explored their relationship in the 2012 FF series.

Juggernaut

Uncanny X-Men #435 (2004) By Chuck Austen, Ron Garney, Mark Morales, And Pete Pantazis

Juggernaut and She-Hulk in bed together

The one She-Hulk love interest that remains a joke in the world of Marvel Comics is Juggernaut. She-Hulk and Juggernaut hooked up in the pages of Uncanny X-Men #435. This one-night stand happened after She-Hulk represented Juggernaut as his lawyer in a court case.

She always denied that this happened and it turned out she was telling the truth. In 2007, She-Hulk writers made a few retcons, confirming that the Jen Walters of Earth A was the one who slept with Juggernaut, rather than the Jennifer of Marvel's main 616 universe.
