"It's time to show them who I really am," the caption reads. As for the footage, it opens with a voiceover stating, "You are a product of all who came before you," while shots of Iron Man's armor, Captain America's shield and Thor's hammer appear on-screen. Shang-Chi's mastery over the Ten Rings was recently teased in a new poster, which also featured him and the rings bound with similar gold-colored energy. Another promotional teaser for the film expanded on its action scenes, such as Shang-Chi's bus fight with Razor Fist and a cage match between The Abomination and Doctor Strange's Wong.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings marks Marvel Studios' second theatrical release since the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, with both Eternals and Spider-Man: No Way Home following it up in late 2021. Unlike Black Widow, which debuted both in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access, Shang-Chi will only receive a theatrical release before shifting to Disney+ after 45 days. While this was described by Disney CEO Bob Chapek as "an interesting experiment," lead actor Simu Liu recently fired back by posting multiple behind-the-scene photos of him and the cast and crew while affirming that "I'm fired the f**k up to make history on September 3rd."

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Daniel Callaham, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings arrives in theaters Sept. 3.
