A new report suggests the hero of Marvel Studios' upcoming film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will face an even larger threat than Thanos (in terms of size, that is).

According to reporter Daniel Richtman, Fin Fang Foom, a dragon-like creature from another planet, has been confirmed for Shang-Chi. His Patreon page also backed up rumors that a large fighting tournament for the eponymous 10 rings would occur in the film.

First appearing in 1961's Strange Tales #89 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Fin Fang Foom is a creature from the world of Kakaranathara that can grow to over 200 feet tall. In addition to his incredible size, Fin Fang Foom possesses a variety of formidable abilities, including acid breath, a healing factor, telepathy, super strength and more. Several animated Marvel TV shows and films have featured Fin Fang Foom, including Iron Man: Armored Adventures, Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble.

If this new report about Shang-Chi proves to be true, then the hero is sure to have his hands full, as Creed II actor Florian "Big Nasty" Munteanu is also reportedly joining the film as another villain in addition to Tony Leung's Mandarin.
