A new poster for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings gives fans another look at Abomination's first MCU appearance since 2008's The Incredible Hulk.

The poster features Shang-Chi himself front and center and his father Wenwu looming over him while sporting the titular Ten Rings. Just above the title, the two battle over the rings while supporting characters from the film surround the two on either side, including Abomination on the bottom left.

Abomination's return to the MCU in Shang-Chi was first revealed in the stinger to the film's first trailer. Shang-Chi and his close friend Katy, played by comedian Awkwafina, attended a superpowered cage battle between a large Hulk-like beast and a sorcerer reminiscent of Doctor Strange. After speculation, Marvel Studios President/Marvel Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige affirmed that the dueling pair are Incredible Hulk villain Abomination and Doctor Strange partner Wong. It's unclear if actor Tim Roth will play Abomination in Shang-Chi; however, he was confirmed to be returning to the role for the upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk.

Actor Benedict Wong also confirmed that he will cameo as Wong in the upcoming martial arts superhero film. "When Shang-Chi was happening, I was so pleased that it was happening, but I was a little kind of crestfallen I wasn't a part of it," he said. "And then the call [from Marvel Studios] came. And I was like, 'Yes!'" Following Shang-Chi, Wong will return in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Abomination made his MCU debut in The Incredible Hulk. Played by Roth, Emil Blonsky demanded to be injected with Bruce Banner's blood in a power-hungry attempt to bring the Hulk, played by actor Edward Norton at the time, into custody. This transformed him into a creature bigger and stronger than the Hulk named Abomination. The two battled in the streets of Harlem and Hulk came out victorious; however, while he spared Abomination's life, the villain hasn't been seen since.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings arrives in theaters Sept. 3.
