During Disney's Investor Day 2020, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced two new Disney+ series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Secret Invasion and Armor Wars.

Released between 2008 and 2009, Secret Invasion is a comic book crossover by Brian Michael Bendis, Leinil Francis Yu, Mark Morales and Laura Martin. The series, which spanned several titles, saw the Skrulls acting on a long-term plan to invade Earth by replacing many of the planet's most powerful and recognizable superheroes. According to Feige, Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn will reprise their roles as Nick Fury and Talos, respectively.

Written by Bob Layton and David Micheline and illustrated by Mark D. Bright, Barry Windsor-Smith, Armor Wars is based on the Iron Man arc of the same name, which was released between 1987 and 1988. In the storyline, Tony Stark/Iron Man sets out to stop those who have stolen the designs for his armored suits. A sequel, "Armor Wars II," was released in 1990, while the Ultimate universe did its own take on the storyline in 2009. Don Cheadle will return as James Rhodes/War Machine for the Disney+ series.

Release dates were not given for either project.
