Marvel Rising Animated Movie Debuts Character Designs

Marvel has revealed the character designs for the previously announced Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors animated film.

First announced in December, the Marvel Rising franchise will include six, four-minute digital shorts that will spotlight Ghost-Spider (aka Spider-Gwen), as well as a feature-length animated movie. Several of the animated heroes will be voiced by their live-action counterparts. Marvel's press release revealed the official character designs for the cast of 10 different characters.

Marvel Rising will include a diverse group of superpowered teenagers from various corners of the Marvel Universe. Marvel put together the team in order to "Inspire younger audiences with their relatable and inclusive heroes that reflects the world we live in. The team includes Ghost-Spider, Quake, Inferno, Ms. Marvel, Squirrel Girl, America Chavez, Patriot, and Captain Marvel.

Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors will debut later in 2018. The film will feature the voice acting of Dove Cameron as Gwen Stacy/Ghost-Spider, Chloe Bennet as Daisy Johnson/Quake, Tyler Posey as Dante Pertuz/Inferno, Kathreen Khavari as Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel, Milana Vayntrub as Doreen Green/Squirrel Girl, Cierra Ramirez as America Chavez, Kamil McFadden as Rayshaun Lucas/Patriot, Kim Raver as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and Bradley Baker as Lockjaw and Tippy Toe.
