4 Winter Solider Vol. 1 Will Make Any Anime Fan A Bucky Barnes Fan

Bucky With His Gun

With the release of The Falcon And The Winter Solider, Bucky Barnes has become one of the most well known heroes in the MCU as of late. But despite his resurgence in popularity, Bucky has always been a well loved (and at times well hated) character in the comics and is sure to make any anime fan become a Bucky Barnes fan as well.

In Winter Solider Vol. 1 Bucky has to return to his titular role and ends up teaming with Black Widow. The two are tasked with hunting down a gang of men that Bucky trained when he was previously the Winter Solider, and things get dicey real quick— especially when Bucky runs into an old enemy.

3 Iron Monger Saga Is For Fans Of Anime With Compelling Comeback Stories Like Hunter X Hunter

Iron Man Fighting The Iron Monger

This storyline is not only great in an of itself, but it is also some of the foundational source material for the earliest MCU Iron Man plot points. This saga features Tony Stark at rock bottom, beaten to the bone by one of his enemies, Obadiah Stane— who at one point was Tony Stark's business partner.

But, knowing Tony Stark, he does not just sulk around, instead building a new Iron Man suit to beat his nemesis. This storyline is great for anime lovers who love a good comeback, such as series like Hunter X Hunter and Tokyo Ghoul.

2 Civil War Is For Anime Fans Who Love Stories About Heroes Clashing

Captain America And Iron Man Fighting

This is another great one for anime fans because of the whiplash of feelings readers get from this storyline. The story starts with a group of heroes trying to stop a villain but end up accidentally killing about 600 people. This then triggers the government to put in place an act that says beings with powers have to register themselves with the government and get "proper" training.

As also seen in the MCU film of the same name, Captain America and Iron Man pick different sides of the fight with Tony Stark wanting to sign the act and Steve Rogers being opposed to it. The Avengers end splintering off as they each pick sides, and a lot of drama and fall out comes from the worlds heroes battling each other.

1 Infinity Gauntlet Is For Fans Of Anime Featuring An Epic Battle Where An Entire Universe Is At Stake

Thanos And The Infinity Gauntlet

This is by far one of Marvel's most tragic and seemingly hopeless stories, where everything seems like it can never be fixed. Full of twists and turns, with Thanos taking all of the infinity stones to wipe out half of the universe, this is a perfect storyline for anime fans.

It gives off slight My Hero Academia vibes, such as how Izuku wanted to be a hero more than anything in the world, similar to how the remaining superheroes in Marvel's comic universe wanted nothing more than for things to do back to how they used to be. Of course, things for both fandoms end up working out in some way shape or form, but there is no doubt that anime fans will be swept away by this fantastic storyline.
