Finally, ScreenDaily reports "The Avengers 2" will begin shooting in the UK at Pinewood-Shepperton studios in early 2014.
Speaking of the MCU, Clark Gregg spoke with Collider about his feelings on getting to return to the role of Agent Phil Coulson for Joss Whedon's "S.H.I.E.L.D."
"I've been so happy and living this geek fantasy as they kept adding Agent Coulson to everything including 'The Avengers' and then gave him this magnificent, almost Shakespearean death scene," Gregg told Collider. "I found out on that day how much I loved this guy and had come to identify with him partly because of the way fans responded to him, and also because he had such a great niche in those movies. He got to be funny, he got to be, in this case, heroic. And then I got to say good-bye to him, and it was a very emotional day. And yet I feel what Joss did with that was a fantastic conclusion of the character. And even though my friends at Marvel said, "You know, we spent a lot of time talking about how Coulson lives, and we know that there's a movement out there, and there are t-shirts and people paint on bridges 'Coulson Lives', we're going to bring you back", and it's one of the many things people tell you that never ever happens. And then I get this call from Joss saying, 'Well...there's a script. And here's what we're thinking, and it's after 'The Avengers,' and here's the concept.' By the time Joss finished telling me, I was in."
THE WALKING DEAD
Robert Kirkman spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about Sunday's season finale and the shocking death of
Laurie Holden's Andrea.
"It's a big departure from the comics, which to a certain extent is somewhat risky but at the end of the day I like the idea of there being big differences that key in to this is the show, this is the comic," said Kirkman. "I like that there's some kind of separation there. It was definitely something that weighted upon us heavily. The unfortunate thing is that you're not really going to see why this was a good decision and good for the show until season four. We thought having that tragic end to her story line -- having [Andrea] work so hard to save these people of Woodbury and find a peaceful resolution to this conflict was really something worthy of the character. It's also something that changes Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) mindset and alters a lot of the characters and their modes of operation moving into the fourth season. It seemed like the right thing to do at the right time.
"The Walking Dead" creator also spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the finale, saying it was always the plan to have the Governor be around for more than one season.
"I think everybody involved in 'The Walking Dead' has kind of caught on to that cable trope of bringing a big new character into a series and then, by the end of that season, that character magically dying or being written out of the show in some clever way," Kirkman said. "We really wanted to give people that sense that this was the kind of thing we were doing -- but flip the script at the end. We've got a lot more to do with the Governor."

Guillermo del Toro spoke with Collider about his "Justice League Dark" film, "Dark Universe," including the spoiler of another character he hopes to include.
"The route we're going is Constantine is our lead. Constantine is the guy who leads us in and out of the plot," del Toro told Collider. "We have Swamp Thing, Etrigan, we have Zatanna, we have -- I will spoil it -- the Floronic Man. We have stuff that those who love the darker side of the DC Universe are going to appreciate, and we're trying to be true to the origins of the characters."
