After his breakout appearance in last year's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-Ham is now getting his own comic book miniseries.

Ahead of the release of its December solicits, Marvel Comics has announced the anthropomorphic porcine superhero will be starring in Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham. The five-issue miniseries is written by Zeb Well and illustrated by Will Robson, and it will feature a time-travel team-up with Spider-Man.

Spider-Ham debuted in 1983's Marvel Tails Starring Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham, by Larry Hama, Tom DeFalco and Mark Armstrong, as the Spider-Man analog on an alternate Earth. Earlier this year, Spider-Ham had starred in an oversized annual by Jason Latour, David Lafuente, Rico Renzi and Spider-Verse producers Christopher Miller and Phil Lord. With the upcoming miniseries, the zany character is poised to revisit history in what is sure to be a fun-filled team-up.
