Empire Magazine is bringing the original Avengers back together, and it's all in the name of the huge celebration surrounding what may be their last outing.

The team is back on the front cover of the popular entertainment magazine again with Empire's May 2019 newsstand covers. Celebrating the release of Avengers: Endgame, the Empire cover art features the original six Avengers standing together once again. While some promotional art has leaked, this is one of the first pieces of official Endgame marketing to put the team together in one place, outside of the latest theatrical poster.

It’s interesting to note the varied appearances of the characters on the covers, as the designs are primarily from other movies. Iron Man, whose Endgame armor has been rumored but not yet officially revealed, is shown front and center wearing his Avengers: Infinity War Mark L armor, which was destroyed while fighting Thanos.

Thor, Black Widow and Hulk also appear to be donning their Infinity War looks, while Captain America is clean-shaven and wearing his scale mail themed design seen in Endgame trailers. Hawkeye, whose Ronin costume and hairstyle may be the most drastic change in appearance in the film, appears to be wearing his Captain America: Civil War costume.

Other members of the Avengers in Endgame, including Ant-Man, War Machine and Captain Marvel, are notably absent, but that’s by design. The May issue is meant to serve as a celebration of the end of the Avengers era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is packed with a special bonus magazine, "Empire Presents: Avengers - The End of an Era." The celebratory insert features a pop art cover depicting the team in their original The Avengers attire and is packed with a retrospective on the original films.

And if that's not enough, the issue also has two other covers - the first look at Endgame’s Thanos design, and a bonus subscriber cover of Thanos watching a sunrise.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau and Bradley Cooper, with Gwyneth Paltrow and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 26.
