Ben Reilly will encounter the Daughters of the Dragon as he takes over for Peter Parker during the upcoming Spider-Man Beyond story arc.

Amazing Spider-Man #78.BEY, written by Jed MacKay with artwork by Eleonora Carlini, is a special issue detailing the former Scarlet Spider's training at the hands of Colleen Wing and Misty Knight. A press release teasing the issue also hints at the presence of a new villain known as Obsidian Star.

Formally known as members of the detective agency Knightwing Restorations, Ltd., Colleen Wing and Misty Knight are frequent comrades of Iron Fist and Luke Cage. The duo made their live-action debuts in Netflix's adaptions of Iron Fist and Luke Cage, respectively. Colleen was even teased as a main star for Iron Fist Season 3 prior to Marvel canceling the show and moving its television series from Netflix to Disney+.

Aside from his training under the Daughters of the Dragon, Ben Reilly will butt heads with Morbius and Kraven the Hunter -- who will soon also be the subject of live-action Sony Pictures films -- in Amazing Spider-Man Issues #78-80. Additionally, the clone of Peter Parker is set to encounter Black Cat and carry out the dying wishes of Doctor Strange, who originally hoped for Peter to take over for him as New York City's magical protector in the event of his untimely demise.

Ben will assume the Spider-Man role after Peter is hospitalized and put on life support machines in Amazing Spider-Man #75, which releases on Oct. 6. Endorsed by the shadowy Beyond Corporation for mysterious reasons, Ben has his work cut out for him as he attempts to fill Peter's boots for the first time since the Sensational Spider-Man series of 1996.

Amazing Spider-Man #79.BEY by Jed MacKay and Eleonora Carlini, with covers by Leinil Francis Yu and Peach Momoko hits comic book shops on Nov. 10.
