The future of the Marvel Netflix characters may still be in limbo due to the rise of Disney+ and the cancellation of Netflix's original six shows, but Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and The Defenders still have a lot to show.

Along with loyal fans who wish to see all of the Defenders crossover into the films and Disney+ TV shows (and not just Daredevil and Jessica Jones) each series has its fair share of accolades. In American television, the biggest possible award to win is an Emmy Award, so here are the Marvel Netflix series ranked by Emmy nominations.

6 Iron Fist - 0 Nominations

While Iron Fist is the only Marvel Netflix series to not be nominated for a Primetime Emmy or Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award, it did receive two nominations for other awards.

In 2018, Iron Fist received a Saturn Award nomination from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA for Best New Media Superhero Series. The following year, the show was nominated for a Golden Trailer Award in the category of Best Original Score (TV Spot/Trailer/Teaser for a Series).

5 The Defenders - 1 Nomination

The Defenders' cast

The big, highly-anticipated Marvel Netflix crossover series that ultimately brought Matt Murdoch, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand together was known as The Defenders, Netflix's answer to The Avengers, though obviously not on such a grand scale.

Despite the Defenders begrudgingly coming together to take on The Hand and Elektra, the series' one season received only one nomination at the 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards. John Paesano was nominated for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music but, in the end, lost to Carlos Rafael Rivera for Godless, another Netflix series.

4 The Punisher - 1 Nomination

While every other solo Marvel Netflix show with Emmy nominations has been for Primetime Creative Arts Emmys, The Punisher is the only one to receive a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award. At the 2018 Emmys, Thom Williams was nominated for Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Drama Series, Limited Series, or Movie.

The Punisher isn't Thom Wiliams' only Marvel credit as he has done utility stunts for Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and the upcoming Disney+ Marvel show Ms. Marvel. Williams was also a stunt performer for Spider-Man: Homecoming and Avengers: Endgame and a stunt driver for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+.

3 Luke Cage - 1 Win & 1 Nomination

While Luke Cage only received one nomination during its two-season run, it's the only Marvel Netflix show to win 100% of the awards it was nominated for. At the 2017 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, James Lew won the Emmy for Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Drama Series, Limited Series, or Movie.

Lew is a celebrated stunt coordinator, fight coordinator, and stunt performer who's been working in movies and TV since the 1970s, like John Carpenter's Big Trouble In Little China, Get Smart, Inception, and Avengers: Endgame.

2 Jessica Jones - 1 Win & 2 Nominations

While other Marvel Netflix shows have nominations for stunt coordination or sound editing, Jessica Jones mostly received nominations for its music. At the 2016 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Sean Callery actually won for Outstanding Main Title Theme Music.

That same year, the show was also nominated for Outstanding Main Title Design. Two years later, Sean Callery received a nomination but no win for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score) at the 2018 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

1 Daredevil - 5 Nominations

Daredevil

The first of the Marvel Netflix shows, Daredevil has by far the most Emmy nominations. At the 2015 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, the show was nominated for Outstanding Main Title Design, Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series, and Outstanding Special and Visual Effects in a Supporting Role.

The last two nominations were specifically for episode nine of Season 1, "Speak of the Devil." The following year, the show's second season was nominated for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series (for "New York's Finest") and Philip J. Silvera was nominated for Outstanding Stunt Coordination for a Drama Series, Limited Series or Movie.
