Hulu has revealed the official synopsis for M.O.D.O.K. -- and with it, the main antagonist of the adult-oriented Marvel animated series: M.O.D.O.K.'s own midlife crisis.

Hulu's M.O.D.O.K. follows the eponymous supervillain -- played by Patton Oswalt -- after being ousted from his position as the leader of A.I.M. Worse yet, his marriage to his wife Jodie is falling apart, as is his relationship with his children Lou and Melissa. Forget Captain America and the Avengers, because this time around, it's the harsh realities of aging that are going to be giving the evil mastermind a hard time.
