Marvel's Midnight Suns has become a hit among both comics and Marvel Cinematic Universe fans, with its card-based combat style bringing something fresh to the table. The game promotes careful strategy and the optimization of different characters' strengths. One character that players can now utilize is Deadpool, a recent edition from The Good, the Bad, and the Undead DLC that recently released.

A fun aspect of Marvel's Midnight Suns is the hero challenges, which are unique to each character and designed to put their abilities to the test. These challenges, if conquered, provide players with their own Midnight Sun suit and a unique card to use in combat. Between the limited use of turns and redraws and the puzzle-like nature of the challenges, they tend to stand out from the rest of the combat in the game. Deadpool's challenge is called Fourth Wall, and it requires some careful card play on the part of the gamer.

What Deadpool's Fourth Wall Challenge Requires

Marvel's Midnight Suns DLC Deadpool Vampire

In order to unlock the character challenges, players must meet a couple of requirements. First, they must unlock the Armory upgrade in the Forge for 175 credits. This can only be done after completing the "Forged in Hellfire" research task, which requires taking Ghost Rider on four missions. Players must also max out their friendship with Deadpool.

In Deadpool's Fourth Wall challenge, Deadpool must defeat eight enemies. The tricky part is that the larger enemy in a purple costume can only be defeated after the other seven are dealt with. However, with Deadpool's tanky, hard-hitting fighting style, players can easily defeat all eight with the right strategy.

How to Complete the Fourth Wall Challenge

Marvel's Midnight Suns Deadpool Fourth Wall Challenge

Marvel's Midnight Suns is quickly becoming known for its intricate puzzles and challenges, and the Fourth Wall challenge is no exception. The seven enemies that must be defeated first are organized in two lines, with four in the front and two in the back. The first step that players should take is to hit the third opponent from the left with Spread the Love. Doing so will earn Deadpool another of those cards, which allows him to chain the attack to the opponent to the right of the one that's already been hit. This opponent can then be finished off with Death from Above, giving Deadpool the Pain Piñata card.

The Pain Piñata card, which is an area of effect card, should then be used on the opponents to the right of the field, which should kill one and cripple two. Next, players need to use Spread the Love on the far left opponent and chain the shot to the far right one, which will leave them both dead. With only two foes remaining, players need to use Death from Above again on the opponent on the right. This will leave players with six out of the seven KOed.

Finally, players should use Mag Dump on the seventh opponent to defeat it. Once all seven of the weaker opponents have been defeated, Deadpool gains the Burning Sensation card, which can then be used on the final opponent. This move will win the challenge and grant players a couple of terrific rewards.

What Players Get for Completing This Midnight Suns Challenge

Marvel's Midnight Suns Deadpool Midnight Sun Suit

For completing the Fourth Wall challenge, players unlock a unique black and gold Midnight Sun suit for Deadpool. These suits can only be unlocked by defeating each individual character challenge or by finishing the game's final story mission. Either way, they make interesting cosmetic items.

The more substantial reward for the Fourth Wall challenge is the Burning Sensation card, which is added to Deadpool's deck. This card uses "En Fuego" to deal double damage (+100% offense). This card costs two heroism to play and can be upgraded to Burning Sensation+ in the Yard in exchange for two duplicates of the original card.
