Hasbro has announced the release of a Marvel Legends Series War Machine Electronic Helmet, which is a 1:1 full scale helmet featuring a high level of detail and electronic lights and sounds.
The War Machine helmet features two LED glowing red eyes and a detachable, magnetized faceplate that can also be attached to the top of the helmet. Attaching or detaching the faceplate will trigger the sound effects and light up the eyes. According to the Hasbro Pulse website, "the helmet interior and the faceplate are detailed to evoke the electronic design, while the exterior boasts a remarkable attention to detail and a beautiful finish."
The helmet, inspired by Tony Stark-designed War Machine technology, is not meant for small children and has an age restriction of 18+, firmly cementing itself as a collector's item and/or a wearable helmet as part of a War Machine costume. The electronic helmet clocks in at just under four pounds and stands at 10 and a half inches tall, nine and a half inches long and just over 14 inches wide. Finally, it requires three AA batteries to function, which are not included.
The War Machine Electronic Helmet is available for preorder for $99.99 from Hasbro Pulse, Amazon, Best Buy, Entertainment Earth, Big Bad Toy Store and Dorkside Toys. It will be available for shipment on Dec. 25.
