Marvel will send temporary tattoos to comic book retailers to celebrate the release of King in Black.

Each retailer will receive at least one bundle of the temporary tattoos, with an additional bundle for every 25 copies of the main cover to King in Black #1 that is ordered. For fans who want to buy a whole bundle, Marvel is sending the tattoos to retailers for $10. No details about the tattoo designs have been released.

King in Black is written by Donny Cates and illustrated by Ryan Stegman and features the God of the Symbiotes Knull as its main antagonist. Knull has been a looming threat in Eddie Brock's life and broke free of his symbiote prison during the events of Absolute Carnage. Venom has joined forces with the Avengers in order to prepare for Knull's arrival, with other heroes including Spider-Man and the X-Men drawn into the battle for Earth. Cates and Stegman previously worked together on Venom and Absolute Carnage.

The cutoff date for retailers to order the temporary tattoos is Nov. 2 and the tattoos are expected to arrive in stores on Dec. 2, when King in Black #1 goes on sale. More information about the series will be revealed during New York Comic Con's virtual Metaverse event on Friday, Oct. 9.
