While Killmonger has been around for a very long time in the comics, if it wasn't for the movie Black Panther, he'd barely be a blip on the supervillain radar. That movie showed fans and creators both just how much great a villain he could be and Marvel has brought him back recently to capitalize on the popularity of the character.

Killmonger is a formidable opponent. Skilled enough to give Black Panther a good fight, his many resurrections over the years have gifted him with superhuman physical abilities and he even possessed a Klyntar symbiote recently. In a battle against the greatest heroes of DC Comics, which ones would Killmonger defeat? Which ones would take him down?

10 Would Defeat: Green Arrow

Green Arrow is a tough cookie but Killmonger has his number. While his archery skills make him quite formidable and his trick arrows give him a lot of attack options, Killmonger is fast enough to avoid arrows. Since Green Arrow doesn't go for the kill, Killmonger would be perfectly willing to take a couple of arrows to lure Ollie in.

Once Green Arrow got in close, Killmonger would make him regret it. While Green Arrow is an extremely skilled hand to hand combatant, he wouldn't be able to stand up to Killmonger's skill and strength.

9 Would Lose To: Black Canary

Black Canary is easily one of the toughest and most skilled heroes in the DC Universe. While she can't match Killmonger's strength, she's been tangling with foes who outclassed in her in a lot of ways for pretty much her entire superheroic career. Plus, she has a hidden advantage - her canary cry.

Killmonger would be able to take an early advantage against Black Canary, but he wouldn't be able to put her away because she is just too good. Eventually, she'd realize that this is a fight that her skills alone won't win, so she'd cut loose with her canary cry and that would be enough to take Killmonger down.

8 Would Defeat: Damian Wayne

The son of Batman and Talia al Ghul, Damian Wayne is the most talented crimefighter of his generation. Unfortunately, he also knows this and that would make him sloppy. He's probably way more skilled than Killmonger could hope to be but his arrogance would be his undoing.

Killmonger's strength and speed would help him a lot in this fight but Damian would basically beat himself here. He just thinks too highly of himself and that's something that Killmonger could use against him, getting the young hero to overextend himself. That would grant Killmonger the opportunity to take him down.

7 Would Lose To: Nightwing

Nightwing feature

Nightwing has been fighting crime and supervillains since he was a child. While Killmonger is much stronger and faster than him, that actually wouldn't matter very much in the long run. Nightwing is too skilled and smart to get himself in a situation where Killmonger's greater strength would give him an advantage.

Nightwing has fought and beaten foes who are a lot stronger than Killmonger. He would use his acrobatic skills to avoid Killmonger's attacks and hit him back, never staying in any place long enough for Killmonger to get an advantage. The fight might take a while but in the end, Nightwing would win.

6 Would Defeat: Beast Boy

Beast Boy from DC.

Beast Boy seems like a bit of a pushover, but his ability to change into different animals gives him a lot of attack options and he's been a hero long enough to know how to utilize his skills perfectly. However, against someone as skilled and strong as Killmonger, he's going to have a hard time getting the win.

Killmonger is skilled enough to keep Beast Boy from getting any kind of advantage and would be able to goad the headstrong youth into making a mistake. One mistake would be all it took for Killmonger to take this fight and defeat Beast Boy.

5 Would Lose To: The Flash

Killmonger is good but the Flash is just way, way better. Able to move faster than the speed of light, his defensive and offensive abilities allow Flash to defeat some of the most powerful foes rather easily. Killmonger is no slouch when it comes to battle but there's just no way he can beat the Flash.

You can't beat what you can't hit and Killmonger just can't hit the Flash. He would keep getting more and more frustrated, which would make him sloppy, and the Flash is not the type of guy who you want to get sloppy with. This fight would be over in a flash (terrible pun intended).

4 Would Defeat: Elongated Man

Elongated Man

Elongated Man's stretching powers give him a lot of flexibility in combat, but that wouldn't help him against Killmonger. While his powers would allow him to get some good shots in at first, Killmonger would exploit his overconfidence and keep getting closer and closer.

Once he got close enough, he would get Elongated Man in a chokehold and hold on for dear life. Stretching is great but Elongated Man still needs oxygen. Killmonger's superior strength would keep Elongated Man from breaking his grip and the chokehold would knock him out.

3 Would Lose To: Hawkman

Killmonger is probably stronger than Hawkman but Hawkman pretty much has every other advantage. His many years of reincarnation give him a massive skills-and-experience advantage and his ability to fly gives him a lot of defensive and offensive options that Killmonger can't match.

Even if Killmonger was able to somehow stop Hawkman from flying, it wouldn't do him very much good. Hawkman can take a lot of damage and his superior combat abilities would allow him to overcome Killmonger's greater strength. Plus, getting hit in the head with a mace is very bad for one's health.

2 Would Defeat: Red Hood

Red Hood pointing a pistol

One of the toughest heroes in Gotham, Red Hood would put up a great fight against Killmonger. Red Hood's skills would allow him to overcome Killmonger's greater strength and speed for a while, but eventually, he'd start getting tired and Killmonger's attacks would take their toll.

This would be a battle of attrition and that's a fight that the weaker foe loses. Red Hood is very good, but once Killmonger starts landing hits, Red Hood is eventually going down.

1 Would Lose To: Batman

Batman has been beating foes who are way stronger than him for a long time. Killmonger is very good but Batman is just plain better. Nothing that Killmonger brings to the fight would allow him to pull far enough ahead of Batman in a fight that he'd be able to beat the Caped Crusader.

Killmonger would definitely get some good shots in but once Batman knew what he was dealing with, he'd cater the fight so he could win, using all of the skills and the advantages his utility belt gives him.
