Marvel Executive Vice President and Creative Director Joe Quesada shared a drawing of brothers Edward and Alphonse Elric from the popular Fullmetal Alchemist anime/manga series. Shared be Quesada on Twitter, the black-and-white drawing shows the two Elric brothers standing next to one another as Edward wields his arm sword. "Fullmetal Alchemist sketch from a few years back," he said of the artwork.

Prior to Marvel, Quesada for DC, where he helped create a number of popular characters, including Azrael and a new version of The Ray. During his time as a writer/artist at Marvel, Quesada worked on several series, including Iron Man, Daredevil, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Black Panther and more. 

In addition to his work with comics, Quesada has worked as an executive producer of several Marvel TV shows, including Legion, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Jessica Jones and Cloak & Dagger.

The Fullmetal Alchemist manga, which launched in 2003, ended its run in 2010. The first incarnation of the anime originally began releasing in Japan in 2003 with a new adaptation, entitled Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, following in 2009. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is currently streaming on Netflix in the United States.Â
