In February, Marvel Comics teams with legendary artist Joe Jusko to celebrate the publisher's past with the debut of Corner Box Variant Covers. Throughout the month, over twenty Marvel series will feature Jusko's reinterpretations of the classic artwork that graced the covers of most of Marvel's comics in the '60s, '70s and '80s. Jusko will homage the work of many of the greatest artists to work in comics, including Jack Kirby, John Buscemi, Steve Ditko and more.

In addition to the variants debuting today, Marvel will offer covers featuring more recreated classics as well as some pieces of corner box art starring newer characters like Deadpool, Spider-Gwen and others.
âWeâre elated to have Joe Jusko do a series of variant covers based on the classic Marvel corner boxes,â Marvel SVP Sales & Marketing David Gabriel said in a statement. âJoe perfectly recaptures what made that artwork so iconic in the first place, and heâs bringing that sense of gravitas to some brand new Marvel Corner Boxes featuring modern characters like Spider-Gwen, Deadpool and more.â
