Jessica Jones is returning to Netflix for a second season, and the first trailer for the Marvel Comics character's return reveals a release date of March 8.

Marvel and Netflix took to social media to post the first trailer for Jessica Jones Season 2 earlier today, revealing exactly when the 13-episode season will premiere on the streaming service. Much to our excitement, Jessica herself says perhaps the most famous motto from Marvel Comics: "With great power comes great responsibility," further cementing Spider-Man's presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In Season 2 of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, the New York City private eye is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave (played by David Tennant). Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.

Based on the Marvel Comics character created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos, Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter as the troubled, superpowered private investigator.

Marvel's Jessica Jones will return to Netflix for a second season on March 8, 2018. The character was last seen in Marvel’s The Defenders, which is out now on Netflix.
