Marvel Hopes Inhumans Characters Will Appear On Other TV Shows

Although Marvel's Inhumans TV show is officially cancelled, Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb hopes the characters might still appear in other television shows set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

A fan on Reddit asked Loeb if there was any chance of Black Bolt, Medusa or Maximus appearing in other MCU TV shows. "Hope so," Loeb replied. "We love these characters and the actors are the best!"

Inhumans released last year to negative critical reception and poor ratings. The low production quality of the series plagued it before it ever began, with many fans and critics lamenting the poor costumes, sets and CG effects. Many had written the series off before it started, and the limited theatrical release of its IMAX premiere barely made a dent at the box office. IMAX has since said that it regrets the decision to have debuted the series in its prestigious format.

Available for streaming on ABC.com, the eight-episode first season of Marvel’s Inhumans stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus the Mad, Serinda Swan as Queen Medusa, Ken Leung as Karnak, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Mike Moh as Triton and Sonya Balmores as Auran.
