Marvel Comics has revealed Aaron Kuder's cover art for July's Thor Annual #1, on which the God of Thunder is seen battling an evil version of himself.

Written and illustrated by Kuder, Thor Annual #1 is one of eight annuals being published this year as part of Marvel's Infinite Destinies crossover event, which revolves around the latest quest for the Infinity Stones. Per Monkeys Fighting Robots, the issue's official synopsis teases a World Tree celebration, which is interrupted "when a mysterious guest -- and his otherworldly powers -- crashes the party. And his 'plus-one' is a dark, twisted version of Thor who is determined to become the iron-fisted ruler of all the realms!"

THOR VS. THOR!

Thor and the other leaders of the Ten Realms (and, uh, Hawkeye?) have gathered for a World Tree celebration! Infinite Destines begins this June with Iron Man Annual #1 and Captain America Annual #1. It continues with Thor Annual #1 and Black Cat Annual #2 in July, followed by Avengers Annual #1 and Miles Morales: Spider-Man Annual #1 in August. Finally, the event concludes in September with Guardians of the Galaxy Annual #1 and Amazing Spider-Man Annual #2.
