A new teaser image from Marvel Comics puts the spotlight on Bruce Banner's The Immortal Hulk.

Accompanying Ron Garney and Richard Isanove's artwork of an enraged Hulk stretching his right hand forward, with the left cocked back in a fist are the words, "The Best Defense" and a date of December 2018.

No other information was provided for what the teaser could be for, but some educated guesses can be made from what we know so far. This could be in regards to an upcoming December story arc in writer Al Ewing and artist Joe Bennett's The Immortal Hulk. Another possibility can be taken from Marvel's November 2018 solicitations, which included a Hulk among Loki's new Cosmic Avengers on the cover of Infinity Wars #5.

Something else to keep in mind is the use of the word "Defense" in the teaser. The Hulk was one of the founding members of Marvel's first Defenders team in 1971. The group consisted of Hulk, Doctor Strange, Namor and the Silver Surfer. Marvel recently relaunched The Defenders as a street-level team of Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, following the Netflix series of the same name.
