Oftentimes, the notion of a hero with a superpower in the Marvel universe is conceptualized to be singular. For instance, the Hulk only having super strength (and arguably durability), much like Captain America or the Thing. It keeps them as fairly simplistic and enjoyable protagonists.

However, it's not impossible for some heroes to not only wield more than one ability but to do so effectively. 10 Captain Marvel Has Flight, Strength, & Heat Expulsion

Captain Marvel was a former Kree warrior who ultimately sided with humanity over her former masters. She was responsible for decimating much of Thanos' fleet during the final confrontation of Endgame, using all of her strength to do so.

In addition to standard super strength and endurance, she was capable of flight and energy projection. Though it is still a somewhat rudimentary set of powers, she harnesses them with skill and fluency, rendering her one of the Mad Titan's most serious contenders.

As the guardian of the Time Stone, Doctor Strange has a number of abilities by which to dispatch his opponents. Aside from the power of the jewel itself, he can multiply his body, attack adversaries with telekinesis, and even teleport to virtually anywhere in the universe— or in Dormammu's case, cross through dimensions.

Additionally, Strange can command his cape to assist him in battle, a trait that is deceptively useful for staving off close ranged attacks. While the Sorcerer Supreme may not have traditional strength or durability, his diverse arsenal well compensates for what is lacking.

8 Ghost Rider Has Flame Manipulation, Super Strength, & The Penance Stare

Ghost Rider is frequently regarded as one of Marvel's most terrifying but simultaneously charismatic antiheroes. Possessing the might of Hell itself, much of his potency comes from harnessing his victims' evil.

His flames and penance stare are both devastating against a malignant target. However, they are not as effective against someone pure of heart. In this regard, the hero is prevented from accidentally injuring anyone that doesn't deserve his retribution, distinguishing him well from characters like the Punisher.

7 Spider-Man Has Strength, Web Slinging, & Enhanced Senses

One of the Marvel universe's most beloved and iconic characters, Spider-Man has a host of abilities by which to keep New York safe from an ever expanding rogue's gallery. In addition to super strength and stamina, he is also able to shoot webs from his wrist, propelling himself in a direction of his choosing or binding his enemies in their tracks (though these may simply be his gadgets, depending on what iteration is being discussed).

A less frequently discussed power is his enhanced senses. Through detecting when something is amiss, he can dodge narrow brushes with evildoers— most frequently applied against cunning antagonists like Kraven or Venom.

6 Wolverine Has Strength, Durability, & An Enhanced Healing Factor

Wolverine has long been one of the most iconic members of the X-Men. His biological mutation allowed him to heal from most of any injury to such a drastic extent that he was able to fight the Hulk with minimal risk or consequence.

Though he was not born with it, the program Weapon X subjected him to also granted an adamantium skeleton and two razor sharp claws. They greatly augmented his combat potential and complimented his stellar defensive capacity with offense to match.

5 Ant-Man Can Enlarge Or Shrink Objects & Also Communicate With Ants

Through the astounding power of the Pym particles, Ant-Man was able to enlarge or shrink objects (including himself). Though the latter may not seem particularly useful, his punches are powerful as bullets when he properly times his expansions and reductions.

Additionally, he possesses the ability not only to communicate with ants but also to coax them into serving him. It exponentially increases the speed and mobility at his disposal in his shrunken form and allows him to keep up with the other Avengers.

4 Professor X Has Telekinesis & Telepathy

Professor X was the founder of the X-Men and a man with profound vision for the future. Though his physical ailments may prevent him from active field work, he is an imperative asset in delicate situations for his outstanding mind— both literally and rhetorically.

His telekinesis allows him to move heavy objects without touching them, providing for a decent and versatile utility. Additionally, he can communicate with (and if necessary, unravel) other people through telepathy alone. His psychological presence is so prodigious that Juggernaut wears a helmet specifically designed to circumvent its effects.

3 Vision Has Strength, Intangibility, & Energy Projection

Vision was an android who was animated through the strength of the Mind Stone. Being fueled by an Infinity Gem comes with a superb number of perks, including strength and energy projection as his most immediately evident assets.

However, his arguably most useful skill is through his ability to make his body intangible. Using it efficiently, he was able to contend with many of the Avengers while still under the sway of Ultron in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Vision's perfect balance between formidable offense and nearly impregnable defense render him one of Marvel's most underrated champions.

2 Daredevil Has Enhanced Strength & Senses

It might be easy to discredit Daredevil on account of his blindness. However, he has made it into one of his greatest strengths, using what deficiency his accident has caused him in order to enhance his other senses. Subsequently, his smell and hearing are among the best in the Marvel universe, rendering him a useful detective with minimal need for gadgets.

Additionally, he possesses super strength (albeit not to the caliber of Spider-Man), able to contend with significantly larger and more durable opponents such as the Kingpin and prevail.

1 Scarlet Witch Has Reality Manipulation & Mental Manipulation

Scarlet Witch may have initially began her career as a villainess under Magneto, though she was eventually most popularly recognized as a hero after the events of Avengers: Age Of Ultron. She was able to manipulate the memories of her targets and return their most agonizing moments back to life.

However, her deadliest ability is handily her affinity for warping reality. Through an effective and tactical usage of this skill, she was able to bring Thanos to his knees, forcing him to fire on his own troops in order to liberate himself from her grasp.
