Wally West has proven to be one of DC's most iconic superheroes. His Speed Force mastery makes him the fastest Flash of them all, and he's been fighting evil since he was young. He's battled some of the greatest threats in the Multiverse as a member of the Justice League and battles one of the most formidable groups of villains ever in the Rogues.

Wally's power and experience make him more than a match for just about any hero or villain out there. Marvel's heroes can be a formidable lot, but there are some rather powerful Marvel heroes that Wally West would run through.

10 Quicksilver Wishes He Was As Fast As Wally West

Marvel Comics Quicksilver Using His Powers To Run Super Fast

Quicksilver is one of the premier speedsters in the Marvel Universe. He has a lot of experience with his powers and has been both a hero and a villain. He's helped fight against some of the greatest threats as an Avenger and member of X-Factor, his speed making a lot of difference. As fast as he is, he's basically a turtle compared to Wally.

In a fight where they both had their powers — since the Speed Force hasn't been shown to exist in the Marvel Universe — Wally wins the battle handily. Quicksilver is nowhere near as fast as Wally, so Quicksilver would have no hope against him.

9 Makkari Would Run A Good Race But Still Doesn't Have The Power To Beat Wally

A modern Ajak and Makkari in Eternals comics

Makkari is the fastest Eternal, which is saying something. Beyond that, she has the requisite super strength, durability, and energy powers of her people. She'd be a hard foe for Wally to face, but her speed powers don't give her the same advantages as the Speed Force. Wally still has her beat in the speed department and has other powers that make up for hers.

His best weapon against her is his ability to steal someone else's speed and add it to his own. Taking away her speed just leaves her with her other powers, and that's easier for Wally to deal with. Without her speed, Wally would take down the Eternal.

8 Northstar Would Give Wally A Great Fight

Marvel Comics Northstar

Northstar is the fastest mutant on the planet. He can run and fly at light speed when he needs to and can fire potent blasts of light. He's one of the only speedsters on the Earth who would have a chance against Wally. Still, the fact his speed is damaging to the environment keeps him from hitting the real high velocities unless it's absolutely necessary.

Because of the Speed Force, Wally doesn't have that problem, and his ability to steal speed would nullify Northstar's own. Slowed down, Northstar is still formidable, and his experience would keep him in the fight. Wally and Northstar would have an epic battle, but it's definitely one that Wally would win.

7 Black Panther Wouldn't Be Able To Stand Up To Wally's Offense

Black Panther T'Challa Wakanda

Black Panther has changed a lot over the years, getting more formidable. Black Panther is the type of hero who would definitely figure out a way to beat Wally if he had time. The problem is having that kind of time against the Fastest Man Alive. Black Panther is good, but he'd find it impossible to get away from Wally long enough to make a plan.

Wally is so much more powerful than Black Panther is used to dealing with. He wouldn't be able to withstand Wally's super fast offense for long, and even if he tried to fight smart, Wally would still get the win eventually.

6 Reed Richards Wouldn't Make Things Easy For Wally

Reed Richards from the Fantastic Four

Reed Richards is one of Marvel's most experienced heroes. He's faced mind-boggling threats for years, and he's another person who, given enough time, would certainly figure out a way to counteract the Speed Force. His elasticity also makes him very hard to hurt, but Wally can punch him a thousand times in a second. Against an onslaught like that, Reed doesn't have a chance.

Reed is used to the rest of the Fantastic Four giving him time to use his smarts to make a difference. In a one-on-one fight with Wally, he'd have no chance to create a countermeasure. He definitely couldn't hit Wally, and it's only a matter of time before the Flash takes him out.

5 Wolverine Wouldn't Be Able To Tank Wally's Attacks

Wolverine 2020 Issue 1 Cover.

Wolverine is one of the most dangerous mutants on Earth. His adamantium skeleton and healing factor keep him fighting against some of the toughest foes around, and his claws are a potent offensive weapon. However, Wolverine can still be knocked out, which will mean that Wally can take him.

Wolverine has to be able to hit someone in order to win. That's not going to be possible with Wally, who would know better than to take it slowly against someone with such obvious weapons as Wolverine. He'll move faster than Wolverine could deal with, pummeling him into unconsciousness with super fast blows.

4 Cyclops's Skills Wouldn't Be Enough Against Wally

X-Men-Cyclops-Krakoa

Cyclops's optic blasts are a devastating weapon, and they're just the beginning of what makes Cyclops so formidable. He and Wally have a similar amount of experience, and Cyclops is an expert at thinking on his feet. He's dealt with super-fast foes before but never one like Wally, and that's going to give the speedster the advantage.

While Cyclops is smart enough to know how to use his optic blasts for maximum effectiveness against a speedster, West is just too much for him. His power to vibrate his molecules through things would nullify most of Cyclops's tricks, giving him the win.

3 The Thing's Offense Is Too Simple To Have Much Of An Affect On Wally

The Thing getting ready to fight with his FF uniform

The Thing is one of Marvel's premiere musclemen. The ever lovin' blue-eyed Thing has proven to be a devastating foe even against enemies who have him beat, and there's no fight he won't throw himself into the middle of. His heart makes him hard to beat, but it's not going to help against Wally. The Thing is good, but he's just a strong, skilled fighter, and he needs more than that to beat Wally.

His rocky durability would make it hard for Wally, but the speedster is best when he has to figure out a way to win. He's taken on foes with great strength and durability before, so he knows how to fight someone like the Thing, which will give him the win.

2 Wally Would Take Iron Man Apart

Iron Man blasts Zeke Stane

Iron Man's armors give him a varied offense and he's battled just about every type of enemy out there. Like other smart heroes on this list, given enough time, Iron Man could figure out a way to overcome the Speed Force, but it's getting that time that would be a problem. Wally's speed is too great of an obstacle for him to overcome without a lot of prep time.

Wally can move much faster than Iron Man's targeting sensors could follow. Against an armored foe, Wally would go the pragmatic route and just take apart the armor, using his power to vibrate objects through other objects to do it with his bare hands. After that, all it would take is one super fast punch.

1 Wally Has One Chance Against The Hulk

Cates' Hulk

The Hulk's many changes over the years make him a difficult foe to deal with. His infinite strength potential is another huge problem. To beat the Hulk, one has to take him out before he gets too strong. That's going to be very hard for Wally because his running around will make Hulk very angry.

Hulk is going to get very strong, and Wally would have just one chance: the infinite mass punch. His mass increases the closer he gets to the speed of light, and he can hit the Hulk with a punch that has infinite mass behind it eventually. It's a guaranteed knock-out blow against the Jade Giant, and it's the only way Wally would be able to actually beat him.
