Being a teenager is never easy. Everyone goes through the same core, shared experience, regardless of where they live in the world.  Now, imagine you had to do the same teenage nonsense but also deal with superpowers and the super hero lifestyles. That's part of the reason why the Teen Titans were formed. It gave young heroes a place be heroes but also to be teenagers. The Marvel Universe has had similar groups for their adolescent heroes, but it's hard not to wonder which of them would have been hired by the Teen Titans and which ones would have gotten fired.

10 HIRED: Hulkling

The half Skrull, half Kree hero made a name for himself on the Young Avengers. While he really isn't a Hulk, his appearance definitely gives off that vibe. He has the shape shifting abilities of a Skrull thanks to his mother as well as flight, durability and strength thanks to his father, Captain Marvel. His diverse power set would make him a standout member of the Teen Titans, if for no other reason than bonding with Beast Boy over being a green skinned shape shifter. Hulking is a powerful hero in addition to being a steadfast friend and ally. He's the exact person the Titans need.

9 FIRED: X-23

A clone of Wolverine, X-23 has all the makings of a epic and deadly hero. Her lineage gives her an incredible healing factor, claws and a really bad attitude. Like Wolverine, her claws are coated in adamantium. Unlike Wolverine, she has two claws in each hand and one in each foot, which creates even more options for death and havoc.

While she is growing into being a respected hero, her outlook on life might not vibe with that of the Titans. Few of the heroes on the team would be okay with her gutting someone, even if the situation called for it.

8 HIRED: Wiccan

Wiccan showing his power in Marvel Comics

Formerly known as Asgardian, Wiccan is an electrokinetic mutant with the mystical ability to warp reality. Describing him as powerful would be an understatement. The long time partner of Hulking, their relationship has been a huge part of both of their arcs. Wiccan has the power and the demeanor to be a core member of the Titans team. He's gone through a lot of hard times in his life, both on his own and as part of a team. He understands the importance of being part of a cohesive group that has similar goals and would help the Titans achieve them.

7 FIRED: Speed

Wiccan's twin brother, on the other hand, would not fit in as well, if at all. While Wiccan has powers similar to his mother, Scarlet Witch, Speed inherited the look and powers of his uncle, Quicksilver. Speed is a hero, but he's a lot more malicious and aggressive than his brother.

When the Young Avengers found him, he was locked in a juvenile detention facility because he may have accidentally vaporized a school. In the escape, he attacked the guards and doctors purely as an act of vengeance. While it's always nice to have another speedster around, Speed's attitude might be a little much for the Titans.

6 HIRED: Nova

Sam Alexander as Nova standing against a galaxy background

One of the youngest members of the Nova Corps, Sam Alexander is accustomed to responsibility. He has a Black Nova helmet which is more powerful than a standard Centurion helmet. Sam carries the power and responsibility of being a Nova well, something that would translate perfectly to membership in the Teen Titans. His power set combined with his mentality on being a hero and a teammate fits in with the rest of the team. Flight. Energy blasts. Superhuman strength and durability. Having a Nova at your back in a fight is always a good plan.

5 FIRED: Ms America

The reality jumping hero has a host of powers and abilities at her disposal, so much so that America Chavez might be disinterested in partnering with the Teen Titans. Her mission to help as many people as possible has carried her between realities and to different worlds.

Though the Teen Titans share her goals of helping people, they might be too small scale for her. She's a tough and no nonsense hero that's likely to get tired of the Titans' antics quite quickly. That being said, she put up with the antics of the Young Avengers so she might be able to tolerate the Titans.

4 HIRED: Spider-Man

There was a time in high school that Peter Parker would have been the perfect fit for the Teen Titans, but he aged out a few years ago. Miles Morales is still in the game, though, and would fit right in. In addition to a similar power set to Parker, Miles also has the ability to turn invisible and shock people with his Venom Blasts. On top of that, Miles is a young, energetic hero that has accomplished a number of amazing feats but still needs guidance from his peers. The Titans fit that bill perfectly. Miles would enjoy being part of that team as much as they would enjoy having him on it.

3 FIRED: Quentin Quire

Some say his greatest power is his impressive telepathic prowess. Others say it's his monstrous ego. Regardless of which side of the line you land on, Quentin Quire is a hard mutant to ignore. Part hero, part troublemaker, Quentin seems to be perpetually bored and looking for ways to amuse himself, often at the expense of his friends and allies.

He also has a huge problem with authority, so any leader who tries to give him orders is in for a rough time. Quire may have softened a bit over the years but it's unlikely that the Titans would find him remotely tolerable.

2 HIRED: Amadeus Cho

The young man with the power of a Hulk and a genius level intellect is a virtually unstoppable force, a resource the Teen Titans would be well advised to add to their roster. Cho's Hulk form may not be as powerful as Banner's but he more than makes up for it by retaining his intellect and mathematical expertise in that form. Both in brains and brawn, he would be a huge asset to the Titans. For him, the Titans would prove to be invaluable allies in his mission to deal with monsters around the world. This is a match made in super hero team up heaven.

1 FIRED: Iron Lad

Iron Lad flying forward from a portal

One of the founding members of the Young Avengers, Iron Lad, aka Nathaniel Richards, is also destined to become one of the Avengers' greatest enemies, Kang the Conqueror. This alone would make him a difficult sell to the Teen Titans. He wears a suit of armor inspired by Iron Man's but with the ability to time travel. His constant battle to not become Kang consistently takes him another step closer to becoming Kang. Unfortunately for Iron Lad, that's how destiny works. The Titans have enough problems without dealing with the teenage version of a time travelling villain trying to be a hero.
