Jane Foster's bond with Mjolnir made her almost more powerful than Thor, and she wasn't the only character to test his strength. There are a few characters in the Marvel universe who have also surprised both Thor and fans with their incredible strength and abilities.

During the Original Sin storyline, Thor became unworthy and lost his ability to wield Mjolnir. He became Odinson and walked a dark path while he struggled to regain his worthiness. A powerful new hero debuted with Mjolnir as the Mighty Thor. Jane Foster eventually revealed herself as the new Thor, and she proved her incredible strength a few times during her brief tenure.

While Jane Foster's Mighty Thor might not always stand up to Thor Odinson in a straight physical contest, her strength of character has proven itself time and time again.
