If there is any character that DC fans want back, it's Power Girl. Introduced as the Supergirl of Earth-2, she would be folded into the DC Universe after Crisis On Infinite Earths. Her origin would be drastically changed and she would go through all kinds of ups and downs over the years before joining the Justice Society of America and having her origin restored during Infinite Crisis.
While Supergirl was a bubbly do-gooder, Power Girl's no-nonsense attitude set her apart from her doppelganger and her search for a family made her more of a poignant character. No stranger to traveling between worlds, if Power Girl ended up in the Marvel Universe, which heroes would she defeat? Which ones would defeat her?
10 Would Lose To: Doctor Strange
One of the most powerful sorcerers to ever exist, Doctor Strange has spent years defending the Earth from the worst mystical threats the multiverse has to offer. Armed with a levitating cloak and the Eye of Agamotto, Strange has backed down demons and dark gods. Power Girl is a daunting foe with a weakness for magic, but even if she didn't have that weakness, Doctor Strange would still be able to defeat her.
Strange can just do too much with his magic. He can whip up shields to block Power Girl's attacks, blast her with eldritch energies, or throw her into another dimension. Against power like that, Power Girl has no answer.
9 Would Defeat: Spider-Man
Gaining powers from the bite of a radioactive spider, Peter Parker learned the hard way that with great power comes great responsibility. Choosing to use his powers to help others, he became Spider-Man. One of the greatest heroes of them all, Spider-Man fights the good fight and never gives up. Unfortunately for him, Power Girl is just way too much for him.
While Spider-Man's spider-sense and agility allow him to avoid most attacks, Power Girl is just way to fast for him. As strong as he is, there's no way he's strong enough to hurt Power Girl. His webbing wouldn't hold her. Power Girl would only have to land one super strong punch and that would be the end of the fight.
8 Would Lose To: Scarlet Witch
Born with probability altering abilities, Wanda Maximoff would start her superpowered career as a villain before joining the Avengers. She would learn magic over the years, becoming more and more powerful. Her powers have allowed her to even change reality.
Power Girl is a powerful opponent, but Scarlet Witch is just way too powerful for her. Not only have her inborn powers allowed her to stay one step ahead of attackers, but her magic will allow her to actually hurt Power Girl.
7 Would Defeat: Wolverine
One of the most dangerous mutants around, Wolverine is the best there is at what he does... and what he does is appear in multiple comics every month. Oh and kill bad guys. With his super senses, healing factor, and adamantium skeleton and claws, Wolverine is always down to take on all comers no matter how powerful they are. While he's known to fight against enemies much stronger than him, Power Girl would be way too much for him.
Sure, he's taken shots from the Hulk, but Power Girl can hit harder than any but the angriest Hulk and has more to her than just her super-strength. Wolverine's claws wouldn't be able to pierce her skin and even if they could, she can fly and move at super speed. This would be another fight that she can win in one punch.
6 Would Lose To: Hyperion
Hyperion is the Marvel version of Superman. After the destruction of his Earth, he came to Earth 616 and joined the Avengers, helping them fight off the Engineers, Thanos, and the Beyonders. One of the most powerful superheroes around, there are other multiversal versions of him that have destroyed every other hero on Earth. This is basically Power Girl versus Superman and that's a fight Power Girl can't win.
Hyperion is more powerful than Power Girl and could take anything she threw at him. The two would go at it for a while, but in the end, Hyperion would have Power Girl's number.
5 Would Defeat: Iron Man
One of the greatest engineers on the planet, Tony Stark was able to build his first suit of Iron Man armor with barely any high tech materials. Over the years, he's built more and more advanced suits of armor, suits that have allowed him to stand with some of the most powerful beings on the planet as a member of the Avengers. Power Girl's Kryptonian might, though, would easily overwhelm Iron Man.
Power Girl is too fast, too strong, and too durable for Iron Man. Iron Man likes to build specialty armors to help him against powerful opponents, but they actually never work- don't let the movies fool you. Power Girl would overwhelm him.
4 Would Lose To: The Sentry
The Sentry is one of the most powerful beings on Earth. Known as the man with the power of a million exploding suns, the Sentry has been the muscle behind several teams of Avengers. He has a dark secret, though- his worst enemy, the Void, is his own dark side. Able to take on some of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe, the Sentry would be able to defeat Power Girl.
There are very few Marvel heroes who would be more than a match for Power Girl, but the Sentry is one of them. He'd be able to take her hardest hits and hit her back hard enough to hurt her. Their battle would be a destructive affair but the Sentry would defeat her.
3 Would Defeat: Captain Marvel
Carol Danvers has been through a lot of ups and downs in her superheroic career. Starting out as Ms. Marvel, she would realize that she wanted more from her life and would take on the mantle of Captain Marvel. Super-strong and durable, able to fly, and absorb and use energy, she's a daunting foe. However, she's outclassed in every way by Power Girl.
Captain Marvel is strong, but Power Girl is stronger. And faster. And can take more damage. The only thing that Captain Marvel is superior in is energy projection, but that wouldn't help her against Power Girl. Captain Marvel would think she could take Power Girl down, but a few punches later and Captain Marvel would be down.
2 Would Lose To: Thor
Thor is the God Of Thunder and has lately become the herald of Galactus. This gives him access to the Power Cosmic, making him even more powerful than he was before. There were few that could stand against Thor before but now with the added abilities given to him by the Power Cosmic, he's nearly unstoppable.
Just to begin with, Thor's hammer Mjolnir is magical, meaning that every blow from it would hurt Power Girl. A lot. Add to that the lightning he could summon and all the other powers that he's gained with the Power Cosmic and he'd make short work of Power Girl.
1 Would Defeat: The Hulk
The Hulk is the strongest one there is. Probably the strongest being on the planet Earth, even the Mad Titan Thanos fears the limitless potential of the Hulk. The Hulk's strength is only limited by how angry he gets. If the fight went on too long, Hulk would be able to take Power Girl, but she wouldn't let it get that far.
Hulk is strong, but right off the bat, he's not Kryptonian strong and that would cost him. In fact, it would take time for him to get strong enough to actually affect her. He's also limited in what he can do to her, while she can fly around him, hitting him with her immeasurable Kryptonian strength at super speed. Plus, if worst came to worst, she can just throw him into orbit.
