As a way of lightheartedly promoting self-isolation amid the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Marvel Comics has launched a new series of webcomics: Heroes at Home. The short comics will offer a look at how Marvel's various costumed superheroes have been spending their time in quarantine. The House of Ideas kicked things off with a comic starring one other than its golden boy himself, Spider-Man. Written by Zeb Wells and illustrated by Gurihiru, the comic sees Peter Parker putting a batch croissants in the oven before taking care of some chores. (Jeff the Land Shark from West Coast Avengers even makes a cameo in the form of a t-shirt while Spidey is folding laundry.) Because it's Peter, things naturally go awry. While working on his web-shooters, the hero realizes he's mixed up the web fluid and the yeast for the croissants, leading to... messy results back in the kitchen. The comic has been shared for for free on both Twitter and Instagram.RELATED: Spider-Man: Sins Rising First Look Recruits Miles Morales & Ghost-Spider

"Our new webcomic series, "[Marvel's] Heroes at Home by [Zeb Wells] and Gurihiru, launched yesterday across social media!" Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski wrote on Twitter, celebrating the fact that the Instagram version has already eclipsed 1 million likes.

Cebulski teases, "Which self-isolating super hero will we see next?"
