Helstrom was announced in May along with Marvel's Ghost Rider, with Hulu hosting both series. While no casting details for Helstrom have been announced, Gabriel Luna is expected to reprise his role as Ghost Rider from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D  for his titular series.

Marvel's Helstorm will focus on Daimon and Ana Helstrom, the son and daughter of "a mysterious and powerful serial killer" who "track down the terrorizing worst of humanity." Daimon Hellstrom, long known as "the Son of Satan," was first introduced in 1973 in Ghost Rider #1, by Roy Thomas and Gary Friedrich.

Helstrom and Ghost Rider are part of what Marvel Television boss Jeph Loeb has labeled Marvel's "Adventure Into Fear." At least two more shows are expected to be announced under this banner in the near future.
