Marvel Comics announced today its next foray into the trade paperback and graphic novel as digital comic market with news that they'll be releasing several titles to Barnes & Noble's incoming Nook tablet. Aside from the publishing news itself, the move takes on added significance in the wake of the monolithic bookseller's recent scuffles with Marvel's main competitor DC Comics. Aside from pulling 100 DC titles from its store shelves due to DC's exclusive deal to release the books digitally with Amazon's Kindle Fire for a number of months, the book chain also has been working to fill graphic novel shelves with other works including 2000AD titles by Alan Moore (as CBR learned exclusively).
