Even though there's been little talk of the film since its announcement, Marvel Studios is making sure fans don't forget about Fantastic Four.

In a newly released sizzle real highlighting Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans are treated to logos and release dates for a number of upcoming Marvel films. The montage of logos culminates with the same treatment for Fantastic Four fans were shown when the project was announced at Comic-Con International: San Diego in 2019, still with no release date.

Much like the X-Men, the movie rights for Marvel's First Family previously belonged to 20th Century Fox, and the studio brought the team to live-action in 2005 with Fantastic Four. This was followed in 2007 with Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, but the poor reception to both films led to a reboot in 2015. That incarnation, stylized as Fant4stic, was similarly maligned, resulting in sequel plans being scrapped altogether. When The Walt Disney Company acquired Fox, the rights to the Fantastic Four returned to Marvel.

Directed by Jon Watts, The Fantastic Four has yet to receive a release date.
