Disney+'s extensive library is home to a number of Marvel properties, from movies to TV shows. However, the newest addition to its catalog is 20th Century Studios' Fantastic Four.

Josh Trank's infamous take on Marvel's First Family joins other Disney+ Fantastic Four content including the 1994 Fantastic Four animated series and the 2006 Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes series. Released in 2015, the film was intended to kickstart a brand-new franchise for 20th Century Fox. Instead, Fantastic Four grossed $167.88 million worldwide and currently sits at 9 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, putting it slightly abve Elektra (11 percent) and Dark Phoenix (23 percent).

Despite Disney gaining ownership over the FF thanks to its acquisition of 20th Century Fox, 2015's Fantastic Four is currently the only Fox/Marvel film available on Disney+. Beginning with the 2000's X-Men, Fox released a number of movie adaptations of classic Marvel characters, including 12 further X-Men movies, three Fantastic Four titles and Daredevil.

Directed by Josh Trank, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jeremy Slater and Simon Kinberg, Fantastic Four stars Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, Toby Kebbell, Reg E. Cathey and Tim Blake Nelson.
