Marvel Pairs Falcon and Winter Soldier in a Comic Ahead of MCU Series

Marvel Comics is getting in on the Falcon and the Winter Soldier action. The publisher announced writer Derek Landy and artist Federico Vicentini will launch a new comic series titled Falcon & Winter Soldier. The reveal coincides with Marvel Studios officially beginning production on their Disney+ series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Landy and Vicentini's series will follow Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes as they team up to uncover the newest head of Hydra. For more details on what Marvel has in store for Falcon & Winter Soldier, read the solicitation below and check out the first issue's cover art by Dan Mora.

Marvel has yet to provide a release date for Falcon & Winter Soldier, but it's safe to assume that the series will be available prior to the release of its Disney+ counterpart, which is set to debut in Fall 2020.
