With Marvel Comics' Extreme Carnage event almost upon us, artist David Nakayama has revealed his official, Carnage-infected redesigns for the Life Foundation Symbiotes.On Twitter, Nakayama recently revealed a look at his design variant for Extreme Carnage: Lasher #1, which injects some Carnage red into Lasher's original green design. Moreover, Nakayama shared his previously revealed design variants starring Agony, Riot and Phage. Created by David Michelinie and Ron Lim, the Life Foundation Symbiotes -- Scream, Agony, Phage, Riot and Lasher -- were originally introduced as part of Marvel's Venom: Lethal Protector limited series in the early 1990s. Lethal Protector's Life Foundation story arc would go on to loosely inspire Sony's live-action Venom film, which released in 2018 and features Riot as a central antagonist.

The Extreme Carnage event kicks off on Wednesday, July 7 with Extreme Carnage Alpha #1. It continues with Extreme Carnage: Scream #1 on July 14, Extreme Carnage: Phage #1 on July 21, Extreme Carnage: Lasher #1 on Aug. 4, Extreme Carnage: Riot #1 on Aug. 18, Extreme Carnage: Toxin #1 on Sept. 1 and Extreme Carnage: Agony #1 on Sept. 15, before concluding with Extreme Carnage Omega #1 on Sept. 29.

Written by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and illustrated by Manuel Garcia, Extreme Carnage Alpha #1 goes on sale July 7 from Marvel Comics.
