While it has not been officially confirmed by Marvel Studios, the main villain in The Eternals may have been revealed, as his name was recently featured on a list of upcoming Funko Pop! figures.

It appears that the villain might be Kro. Along with his name, the list also featured the names of several other Eternals characters, including Ikaris, Sersi, Thena, Kingo, Sprite, Druig, Makkare, Ajak, Phastos and Arishem. It is worth noting that the name "Dan Whitman" also appeared on the list, which is a misspelling of Eternals character Dane Whitman's name. While this misspelling was likely an innocent typo, it could call into question the list's legitimacy.

Also called Warlord Kro, the character made his comic book debut in 1976's Eternals #1. The character was created by legendary comic creator Jack Kirby and possesses a variety of powers, including shape-shifting abilities and a healing factor. In the comics, Kro is known as the Deviants' leader. It has been suggested in the past that The Eternals may be introducing the Deviants to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Filming on The Eternals took place in London, Oxford and the Canary Islands and was completed in February. It was announced earlier in March that visual effects work on the film would be completed remotely, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The film is currently scheduled for release on November 6, 2020. However, as with a number of major projects, the release may be delayed.

Directed by Chloé Zhao with a screenplay by Matthew and Ryan Firpo, The Eternals stars Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Gemma Chan as Sersi and Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, aka the Black Knight.
